Wednesday, they call it "hump day." Next week the kids go back to school and I hit the ground running with work. I signed up for a real estate training program that will run for the next 8 weeks and it promises to challenge me. I hope I am up for the challenge. I just look forward to a few listings and hope to make a few sales in the process.
The family took a trip our first week of vacation to the mountains of Georgia and visited with family. Such a great time. We always love to visit PopPop and even had Grandma and Poppy Maric there this time. Moon Valley was beautiful. Very peaceful and open. Although we got rain each day it did not stop everyone from having a great time. We went to the river one afternoon and had a great cookout. As luck would have it the sky opened up and poured on us at the end. That did not dampen the fun. It was so great just to be with family and have time to sit together, eat, socialize and enjoy each other. Life gets so busy and we seem to have such limited time. This was a great treat and now we are planning our next get together. Hopefully we can all meet at Mike and Lisa's house in December. I wouldn't mind swimming during Christmas. I know the kids would love it.
